Since introducing the first Turbo in 1976, BÖWE SYSTEC has continuously updated and developed its concept. In cooperation with the renowned printer manufacturer Riso, BÖWE SYSTEC has succeeded in taking another decisive step towards process automation with The Bridge: This innovative configuration includes a special component, the ground-breaking “Bridge”, which connects a high-quality Riso color printer to the BÖWE SYSTEC inserting system Vario, allowing the realization of a White Paper Factory in the mailroom or even in office environments. After the documents have been printed on demand, they are automatically transported to the Vario inserting system, where they are then inserted – all without any manual intervention.

The Quattro inserting system offers dependable processing performance for all formats from DIN C6 to DIN B4 – from postcard to brochure or magazine.

BÖWE SYSTEC card mailing systems are well-known for their indisputable reliability when it comes to processing personalized plastic cards. With the new card mailing system Cardcube, another innovative product has been added to the current portfolio. With a performance of up to 4,000 cards per hour, Cardcube is ideally suited for medium-sized production volumes. This compact system offers innovative and smart solutions to face existing and new challenges in card processing on the smallest possible footprint. Cardcube utilizes a newly designed folding unit that prevents imprints of an embossed card appearing on the document and comes with a special feature: A robot attaches up to four plastic cards in any orientation – thus providing new levels of flexibility in card application.

BÖWE SYSTEC card mailing systems enable personalized plastic cards to be sent to the card holders quickly and reliably. They guarantee the exact matching of cards and documents and automatically attach the cards to the corresponding carriers. If required, the card carriers can then be inserted into envelopes together with enclosures. We offer our clients tailormade solutions on the basis of our inserting systems. Since the card mailing system Pace, for example, can be retrofitted any time, investment protection is guaranteed. All systems have a uniform operating philosophy. It allows fast and easy changeover from one job to the next, even if the batch sizes are small.

The Watermill card storage system holds up to 3,780 plastic cards from different personalized orders, which can be processed according to demand. It is no longer necessary to manually pre-sort individual orders, reducing the number of possible mistakes and time involved. Repeated setups for large numbers of small orders are also a thing of the past. Watermill is available as a module to be fitted with existing card mailing systems or as a standalone system. Watermill comes with three or six storage modules and holds up to 1,890 or 3,780 cards respectively.

The Flexi Plus Sealer is the ideal system for preparing printed documents for mailing without inserting. The high-capacity self-mailer folds and seals paper by a clever process: Whether standard copy paper, coated, glue- or chemically coated paper - the document is heated and safely sealed under pressure. A clean, reliable and economical solution and thanks to the simple modular design, with the added value of low service and maintenance costs.

The Cards personalization technology including the HPPS and the PMP was later acquired by Atlantic Zeiser in 2009 when they developed the newest version of the HPPS called the AZ-Alpha2, characterized by its high speed of up to 6,000 GSM cards per hour with laser engraving on the front and backside of the cards.
